Give and take in church

I know a missionary in a church who does great missions all over the world. But she says “Give and take” all the time, and she loves more who give many presents and gifts to her. Likewise, she despises who does not give her much. Yes, that is the life is, and that is the world is.

But the church must not follow the world because the world goes into hell. The whole world goes into wide gate, but the church must go into narrow gate just as it is written in Matthew 7:13. ‘Give and take’? No, never. The bible says “Freely ye have received, freely give(Matthew 10:8, King James Version).

Just as I wrote before, Jesus does not want the politics be played in church. In spite, He is against the politics. The gospel of Luke tells us, “But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just(Luke 14:13-14, King James Version). Yes, surely Jesus is against the politics. In political aspect, one must give someone only when he finds something to get from him direct or indirect. But Jesus told us give someone who has nothing to pay us back, which is interpreted as “Do not play politics in church“.

I strongly believe that “Give and take” is the word which Jesus hates most. If anyone wants to be a servant of Jesus, one must say “Freely give and take nothing back“.

What makes me sad is that the church people show much hospitality to the rich and power while they don’t care about the poor and powerless. That hospitality is not love but politics which Jesus hates most. People despise the poor, and the church also despise the poor.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? (James 2:1-6, King James Version)

The bible has commanded us what to do and how to do. But the churches which proclaims itself the disciples of Christ Jesus are against the bible and Jesus. Remember what Jesus said in the last section of Matthew 25. What you do to the poor is what you do to Jesus, and what you don’t to the poor is what you don’t to Jesus.

I am against the politics in church because I am for Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
